Voters Over Party

A calm choice in a time of political conflict

“When it comes to politics, the Secretary of State should be more of a referee and less of a participant.”

Scott Morgan

Let’s try something different.

Kansas deserves elections that are fair, secure, accessible, professionally administered, and worthy of public trust.

Scott Morgan is running for Secretary of State to bring calm, experienced, and professional leadership to an office that should serve voters rather than partisan political conflict.

Scott is the United Kansas Party candidate and will appear on the November ballot. United Kansas is a new party built on Principled Moderation. It is dedicated to support practical, balanced leadership focused on voters rather than partisan extremes.

In Kansas, the Secretary of State has traditionally been a quiet steward of elections and public trust. We should not allow this office to become yet another source of partisan conflict driven more by party interests than concern for Kansas voters.

I am offering calm competence. What a concept.

Scott is a fifth-generation Kansan with experience in law, public service, business, and election administration.

He has served on the staff of Senators Nancy Kassebaum and Bob Dole, represented the U.S. Senate on the Federal Election Commission, served as Chief Counsel to Governor Mike Hayden, co-founded a national publishing company, and served on the Lawrence School Board.

He is running for Secretary of State because Kansans deserve competence, professionalism, and public trust in the administration of elections and government services.
